Study in Paris. Earn academic credit. Gain international experience.

The EMA Study Abroad Programme gives international university students the opportunity to spend a semester in Paris while continuing their academic journey towards their home-university degree. Depending on their year of study, students can also add French-language courses through CCFS and have the opportunity to take the DELF examination.

The programme also creates opportunities for universities looking to develop academic partnerships in Europe and offer their students an international study experience in Paris.

Why study abroad at EMA?

A semester at EMA combines academic study with international experience and the opportunity to live and learn in Paris.

Students can study at a European business-focused institution, earn academic credits from EMA for approved coursework and choose a Fall or Spring semester depending on their year of study.

Depending on their academic pathway, students can also study French through CCFS and have the opportunity to take the DELF, an official French-language diploma.

Choose your semester

Bachelor’s - Year 1

First-year university students without French proficiency are required to take French-language courses at CCFS as part of their Study Abroad programme.

The Spring semester is recommended. CCFS provides French-language instruction alongside academic studies at EMA, and students can take the DELF examination.

Bachelor’s - Year 2

Second-year students can join EMA in the Fall or Spring semester, with Fall recommended.

French-language courses at CCFS are not required but are highly recommended for students who want to strengthen their French and deepen their experience in France.

Bachelor’s - Year 3

Third-year students can study abroad at EMA during the Fall semester only.

French-language courses at CCFS are optional but highly recommended.

MBA - Year 1

First-year MBA students can choose one semester, either Fall or Spring.

MBA coursework is taught in English and academic credits are awarded by EMA. French-language study through CCFS is optional for students who want to add a language and cultural dimension to their experience in France.

French language and the DELF

Depending on the student's year of study, the Study Abroad experience can also include French-language courses through CCFS.

Students taking part in the French-language pathway have the opportunity to take the DELF (Diplôme d’études en langue française) examination, an official diploma demonstrating French-language proficiency.
