École de Management Appliqué hosted a series of seminars this summer exploring some of the key challenges shaping international business and giving students and professionals an opportunity to engage with perspectives beyond the classroom.

The series has brought together industry experts and academics to examine topics including sustainability, responsible leadership and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy through practical examples and interactive discussions.

The first seminar explored global sustainability solutions and strategy, including how organisations can balance commercial objectives with environmental and social considerations. A second session focused on ESG strategy and its growing influence on corporate governance, investment decisions, risk management and long-term business planning.

The series will conclude with a seminar on global business law and cross-border deals, covering areas including international contracts, negotiations, regulatory compliance and legal risk.

Through the series, EMA aims to connect academic learning with current international business challenges and give participants greater insight into the issues influencing organisations and decision-makers worldwide.
